Community Security Service (CSS) is a non-profit organization that provides security and safety services to Jewish communities in the United States. Founded in 2007, CSS was established in response to the increasing number of anti-Semitic incidents and hate crimes targeting Jewish communities. CSS recruits and trains volunteers from the local Jewish community to provide security patrols, surveillance, and other safety measures to Jewish institutions such as synagogues, schools, and community centers.
We were engaged to design and develop a fund raising brochure for Community Security Service (CSS). The brochure fuses informational text-copy with infographic elements that depict relevant statistics in chart and table form. Page spreads are supported by stylized photos and imagery utilizes color overlay effects combined with various post-production camera filters.
The images were processed using Adobe Photoshop, the infographics were designed using Microsoft Excel, Adobe Illustrator and Sketch, and the design layout was done using Adobe InDesign.
